Prison Fellowship Angel Tree is partnering with Oakridge Christian Camp by providing scholarships so that your child can attend camps at Oakridge at no cost to your family! All Angel Tree children (received a Christmas gift from an incarcerated parent through Angel Tree) are eligible for a 100% scholarship to Oakridge! Currently, if they qualify, your children aged 7 - 18 will be eligible for one summer camp scholarship as well as one off-season camp each year. Our off-season retreats are in fall and winter, so when looking at the dates for these camps, be sure to think through which one of those two retreats will be best for your child to attend! Once they’ve registered for and attended one of the off-season camps, they will no longer be eligible to receive a scholarship for the other off-season retreats that year (our “years” are similar to academic years, so you could think of them as being from summer to summer). Teens (age 13 - 18) may be eligible to receive a scholarship for an additional camp - LIT (leaders in training) - in summer, if they meet the extra qualifications for these leadership retreats. All camps provide programming from a Christian perspective, with a Gospel message and Bible teaching! A trained camp counselor will be your child's guide throughout the entire experience. They will room in dorms with other same-gender individual campers and enjoy building friendships, learning life lessons and experiencing crazy adventures, all in a safe environment. Church leader note: If you have a student that qualifies for an Angel Tree scholarship, they can attend YOUR event at Oakridge through this scholarship as well, not just the dates below. You will be responsible for supervision and event details.

The experience
LODGING: You'll be lodging in our comfortable, air-conditioned dorms. Bring your own twin size bedding or sleeping bag. Dorm lodging is separated by gender.
MEALS: You'll get meals for the duration of camp; we serve delicious, youth-friendly food that has great reviews! You can see our sample summer camp menu here.
ACTIVITIES: With dozens of activities available throughout the property, you won't be bored during free time at Oakridge! Hit your target at archery, ride a go-cart, bounce and flip 20 feet in the air on our power bouncer, and so much more! All basic and supervised activities are included in your camp price. Included in Extreme Camp are extra age appropriate activities, like laser tag, paintball, arrow tag, zip line and our Goliath challenge course.
CHAPEL SERVICES: Teaching will be Bible-filled and focused on the chosen Scripture passage. Music will be engaging and focused on Jesus. Skits center around lessons from God's Word. Crazy games and silly songs will make you laugh. Small group discussion and other elements of our chapel services will work together to teach campers great spiritual lessons!
NIGHT ACTIVITIES: After chapel and snacks each night, the fun keeps going with evening activities! Campers will have the option to participate in activities like laser tag, a pool party, open mic, team games, and a campfire.
THEME NIGHTS: We enjoy exciting theme nights in the evenings! Campers can show up dressed appropriately depending on our theme that night. We even celebrate into the night (on the Wednesday of 5-day camp and the Saturday of 3-day camp) with a either a carnival, luau, medieval or western night! These themes vary every year - stay tuned to find out which theme you can enjoy this summer, and which outfits you can bring to match!
TEAM EXPERIENCE: All campers are separated into teams for part of the day so they can meet new friends! They can compete for their team in morning challenges like human foosball, pool relay races, confidence course, giant maze, gaga ball and other options! They will also have the chance during meals, chapels and night activities to earn points for their team.
SHIRT: A super-cool camp theme shirt is available for all guests! Every camper who registers will receive a free t-shirt. Sign up early to guarantee your size!
registration & cancellation policies
ONLINE REGISTRATION
All registration for Oakridge camp is done online. In order to request an exception to this policy, please contact the Oakridge office by phone or email. A $20 per person registration assistance fee will apply.
LATE REGISTRATION fees
Every online registration portal has a date where late registrations apply. For our Angel Tree events, this is typically a $10 per person fee that applies 14 days in advance of the event.
